Coronavirus - 2020
We are living through an incredibly strange time and there are a lot of changes happening around the world every day. Here at Thwaites, we want you to remember that you are not only an important part of our family but also a valuable part of the global community. Your education and wellbeing has never been more important than they are today.
Unlike during the first lockdown, we will not be updating this page of our website. All of the work and daily content will be appearing on Class Dojo. If anybody encounters any problems with this, please contact the office or Mr Emms and we'll do what we can to get you logged in.
We will be using Class Dojo every day to share work and updates with you whilst we are in lockdown. Please try and log in every day, have a go at the work and enjoy learning in a different environment. It is really important that alongside completing the work tasks, you also spend some quality time with your family.
We will be updating the lessons on Class Dojo daily so remember to check in at the start of every day.
Although these times are uncertain, one thing is for sure - Team Thwaites will continue to do all it can to support the children and families that call our little school 'home'. If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here for everyone in our wider Thwaites community.

Early Years Activities
Hello Everyone,
It is hard to believe that this is the final week of term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their hard work at home and at school and wish you all a safe and happy summer break. This weeks activities have a reflective feel, looking back over time in 'Lockdown 2020'. It would be fantastic, if when you are compiling your memory jar you let us know what some of those positive experiences have been for you and your families during this very unusual time, we will add them to the 'time capsule' we are hoping to put together in school.
Don't forget, you can send us photographs of what you are getting up to during the holidays, especially any unusual reading locations, via Class Dojo, Facebook or feel free to email me at angiehuddleston@thwaites.cumbria.sch.uk.
Have a fantastic holiday.
Mrs Huddleston

Listed below are a range of websites and links that may prove useful over the coming weeks. Many educational websites are now offering free access to parents and carers, for a limited time during the Coronavirus crisis. I will endeavour to add new websites to this list, as and when I become aware of them.
