Thwaites School is proud to be a member of the Cumbria Music Hub Lead Schools Network.

The network brings together schools from across Cumbria to help shape the future of music education, share effective practice, develop professional learning opportunities and strengthen partnerships across the region.

As a Lead School, we work alongside other schools, music specialists and the Cumbria Music Hub to support curriculum development and contribute to professional development opportunities. We are also helping to develop a new music accreditation scheme for schools.

Our involvement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality music education at Thwaites School and to supporting the continuing development of musical opportunities for children and young people across Cumbria.
