Thwaites School is proud to have achieved the AI Quality Mark - Bronze Award.

As a small village school, we believe that we have a responsibility to prepare children not only for the world in which they live today, but also for the rapidly changing world they will inherit. Artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies are transforming society, and we want our pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and critical thinking they will need to use them safely, responsibly and confidently.

The award recognises our work in developing pupils’ AI literacy, promoting online safety and ethical technology use, and exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning. We are particularly proud that our approach was recognised as thoughtful, balanced and ambitious within a small primary-school setting.

Achieving Bronze marks the beginning of our journey. We will continue to evaluate the impact of this work on our pupils and the wider school community, develop our provision and gather evidence as we work towards Silver and, ultimately, Gold status.
