Our bespoke curriculum, created by the teachers of Thwaites School, has been carefully and thoughtfully designed to enhance what our school has to offer as a village school set in stunning surroundings. 

The curriculum is mapped out from Nursery to Year Six, ensuring knowledge and skills are built upon seamlessly to enable all children to achieve their very best through fun, exciting and memorable learning experiences. 

Below you will find our 'Curriculum Overviews' which show what is taught in each class, each term, our 'Intent, Implementation and Impact' documents that explain how we intend to deliver each subject, how this will be implemented and the impact teaching it in this way will have and our 'Progression of Core Knowledge and Skills' documents which outline all the core knowledge and skills children learn in each year group from Nursery to Year Six. 

Using the documents below to understand what your child is currently learning and supporting them at home through discussions and questioning will embed their learning further.
